Pair of rare English Eighteenth Century Cuban Mahogany Oval Back Armchairs in the manner generally considerd to be a model for the entrance hall . 

 

Of such well chosen timbers, the Cuban Mahogany has been allowed to mature due to general neglect of well meaning custodians to allow a heavy crust of patination and wonderful natural dark and light shades . Nevertheless ,the chairs have survived structurely in almost perfect condition seemingly having not been in the hands of a conservator . They are what old fashioned dealers call " untouched condition" and suitable for the connoiseur - aficionado whose passion is moved by such an expression of beautiful ageing .
