A Fine and Rare Pair of English Eighteenth Century Mahogany Dining Room - Lead Lined Urns ( Cysterns ) of Typical Thomas Chippendale Character .

 

 

Of note :-  The Rare Feature of  Laquered Bronzed  Mountings to a High Degree of  Workmanship with Particular Fine Carving put these Urns in the Category of Works of

Art .

 

Research is at Present Being Undertaken - One can Confidently Assume they Started Life in one of Englands Great  Houses .

 

Purchased in Yorkshire , it is Likely they were a Commission Supplied by Thomas Chippendale of Gillows Lancaster .

 

Dimensions      31 inches high      13 inches square base .
