This Pair of Consoles are of a particular high standard of design and superior carving so as to suggest a master craftsman with a strong leaning towards the designs of William Kent . A superior almost unique design to the front support and the wonderful rich colour of timber as well as the natural patina make this pair of tables not only a most decorative item but would suit the serious collector of English 18th Century furniture . Condition: Excellent State of Repair . These pair of tables once many years ago were placed back to back with a single marble top forming an unusual centre table . They are now in their intended state with possibly wonderfully grained - replaced old Verde Antico tops .
