A truly Important and Magnificent Early Georgian Period Exquisitely Carved Giltwood Sidetable / Console Table of Immense Proportions , retaining almost all of the original gilding with a later dramatically figured Breche Marble Top . A superb example of English Elite Furnishings of the Kentian period which was suitable only for the great country residences in the first quarter of the eighteenth century .

Provenance
Purchased by direct contact with the Ecclesiastical Offices :- ie The Church - Baldock Hertfordshire who in the 19th Century received the table from a notable Essex Family .
